Welcome to The Sandstone Ridge Festival
The Sandstone Ridge Festival is a new arts and community festival celebrating Cheshire’s artists and performers, with music, theatre, art exhibitions, author talks and poetry. It launches for the first time this year from May 18th-21st.
The villages of Cholmondeley, Tattenhall, Bunbury, Burwardsley and Malpas run alongside the Sandstone Ridge and will hold events against the backdrop of some of Cheshire’s oldest prettiest villages and stunning landscapes. Each village will host a day of the Festival
The Festival Base will be the Cheshire Art Hub, Burwardsley which will run an exhibition of 10 artists and craftspeople throughout the festival. Food and drink available at most venues.
Tickets can be bought online or from our local venues: Bunbury: Tilly’s Coffee Shop, Tattenhall Post Office, Malpas: Old School Tea Rooms, Burwardsley: Cheshire Arts Hub.
Some Events are FREE and all no charge to Under 18s (except Mark Radcliffe and Literary Lunch) but you still need to book your ticket. Thank You.

ALL UNDER 18s FREE: All children and young adults 18 and under are encouraged to attend and all events at the Festival will have FREE entry (except Mark Radcliffe and The Literary Lunch). Booking still required to ensure entry. Please bring the proof of your educational establishment or age on the day. You can attend on the day without booking or a ticket but places can not be guaranteed. Any accompanying adults will be required to purchase a ticket, either through the website, a local ticket office or on the door.
